  1. Governor Appointment to Arizona Medical Board - In November of 2008, Governor Janet Napolitano appointed Dr. Bruce Sadilek to the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Board for a 5 year term.
  2. Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AzNMA) – Dr. Bruce Sadilek was a board member from 1997 – 2008.  From 2002-2008, Dr. Sadilek served as president of the AzNMA.

  1. Physician of the Year - Awarded the 2007 Physician of the Year by the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association. 
  2. SCNM Legacy Award - Awarded the 2008 SCNM Legacy Award by the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine on August 14, 2008 for major and long lasting contributions to the advancement and development of medicine.

Dr. Sadilek was a paramedic from many years and owned and operated his own emergency medical ambulance and non emergent transportation companies.  During this time, he realized that he wanted to continue in healthcare but on a different level.  He wanted to be more proactive and have a long term relationship with his patients, instead of be a reactive participant with a patient and not knowing how that patient is doing a week or even a year later.  Dr. Sadilek decided integrative medicine was a good fit for him.  He is committed to helping his patients take on a more preventative role in their healthcare. So he sold his business and attended Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ.After receiving his medical degree, he enhanced his education through an intensive internal medicine clinical internship at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Sadilek has been in private practice providing a comprehensive integrative approach to family health care.  Known as a dedicated and compassionate physician, Dr. Sadilek is committed and focused on treating the whole person.  Achieving wellness by treating the mind and body along with his enhanced knowledge of the sciences, diagnostics and natural therapeutics is the reason for his success. 

Dr. Sadilek’s goal is to enhance, expand and supplement traditional medicine with a natural approach.  He takes the time to listen closely, obtain a detailed medical history, perform a thorough physical examination and utilize integrative modalities with each patient.   His commitment to investigates the cause of each patient’s situation and creating a personalize health plan to start the healing process and incorporates preventative measures for the patient.

He has published numerous articles on health and healing and is frequently requested to speak on specific health and wellness topics.  He has been interviewed as an expert for ABC News, PBS “Arizona Illustrated” and KUAT.

University of Arizona’s Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine has asked Dr. Sadilek to instruct medical students and residents from around the country, lecturing and mentoring on how to practice medicine with a natural approach.  He also acts as a preceptor for students and residents from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, Tempe, AZ.

Dr. Sadilek has always been committed to a healthy lifestyle.  He and his wife, Gail, the registered nurse for his practice, have been married for over 20 years and has been an integral part in the development of Integrative Medical Associates.  He enjoys hiking, photography, and martial arts and traveling in his RV.  He is involved with his pets and is a proponent of natural health care for pets.

On November 14, 2008, Governor Janet Napolitano appointed Dr. Bruce Sadilek to be a board member of the State of Arizona Naturopathic Medical Board.  The primary duty of the Board is to protect the public through the regulation of the practice of naturopathic medicine.

On August 14, 2008, Dr. Bruce Sadilek received the SCNM Legacy Award for his many contributions to the field of medicine, including serving the naturopathic profession as the President of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association.  Under Dr. Sadilek's leadership the association has continued to thrive.

The Legacy Award recognizes alumni of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine who have made major and long lasting contributions to the advancement and development of medicine. This award recognizes SCNM alumni who have transcended their fundamental roles as health care providers, scientists and educators to become influential participants in the advancement of the art and science of medicine. Excellence in these areas brings pride and distinction to SCNM as well as to integrative medicine.

 

Arizona Physician of the Year 2007 by the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association

On Saturday, November 17, 2007, Dr. Bruce Sadilek was awarded the 2007 Physician of the Year by the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association.  In the company of friends, colleagues, students, and family, Dr. Sadilek graciously accepted his award and thanked those who helped to guide him along the way.  “I’m so honored to be chosen by my peers and the leaders of the medical profession.”  Dr. Sadilek is the President /CEO /Medical Director of Integrative Medical Associates and has a private practice in Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Sadilek attended the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and graduated in 1997.  He completed additional training in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona.  He serves as the president of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association and is a member of American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and American Academy of Anti-Aging.
