My Aching Joints

Question 1: It is my understanding that Mesotherapy is beneficial for pain reduction. Can you please explain?

Answer: Mesotherapy can be effective for pain management along with some nutraceutical/ botanical protocols and occasionally prescriptive medications. The advantage to Mesotherapy is you are able to deliver medications and/or homeopathic and vitamin preparations to the specific area of pain allowing the medication or nutraceutical/ botanical to be absorbed at the particular site of inflammation.

Question 2: Is Mesotherapy appropriate for muscle spasms and chronic pain?

Answer: Mesotherapy can be quite efficacious with the patients with various muscle spasm, fibromyalgia, and myositis.

For the patients with chronic pain, Mesotherapy can be helpful to deliver the therapeutics to the areas that need the attention the most. It also helps repair underlying connective tissue. Mesotherapy does have some good efficacious use for various types of neuropathic pain.

Question 3: I do suffer from migraine headaches and is there any therapeutic that would be efficacious for this?

Answer: Mesotherapy can be efficacious for some of our patients with migraines depending on the location of the migraine. Also doing integrated nutraceutical/ botanical plan for migraine therapeutics can be helpful especially utilizing the COX-2 naturals.

Answer: Mesotherapy has been utilized postsurgically in helping with resolution of pain along with some significant improvement in pain. The particular Mesotherapeutic mixtures can vary according to the location and type of pain.
